1.Glee:- joy/delight

●Chennai lit up with Glee as dhoni and his team arrived with trophy.
●They were dancing with glee


2.palpebrate:- To wink
●The news reporter didn't seem to palpebrate..


3.Exasperate:- Infuriate/ annoy
●His assistant's carelessness is exasperating him...
●She was clearly exasperated by all my questions.



4.Facile:-something very easy/ bleeding no efforts
●If you are a skilled web developer, you will find this project to be rather facile


5.Celerity:-speed/Swiftness
●Indeed, it is wonderful with what celerity and precision the one process follows up the other.
●It was answered with amazing and startling celerity
●He practiced before a mirror and was satisfied with his celerity

6.Tedious:-too long, slow, or dull; tiresome or monotonous.
● If you just don't want to attend the lecture,even the best lecture will seem tedious.
●The process is long, tedious and filled with paperwork.

7.Obfuscate:- To make things obscure or unclear and confuse others
●A lot of times,Politicians obfuscate the truth about the issues to win the support of people so that they can win elections.

8.Hefty:-large and heavy/ powerful

●He aimed a hefty kick at the door
●I got a hefty increase in salary.

9.Scrumptious:- very tasty

●What a scrumptious dish it is!
●I am enjoying a scrumptious breakfast

10.Pollyanna:-Extremely optimistic/ positive person

A Pollyanna will always look for positive even in the adverse situations.e.g
e.g suppose that you met with an accident,, a pollyannish person will be happy that at least your leg didn't break.

●I'm no Pollyanna, but I do think some good will come out of this.
●Maybe, I'm just a middle-aged Pollyanna, but that isn't the world I see.

11.Opine:-to state/ give opinion

●Thomas Alva Edison famously opined that genius is “one percent inspiration, ninety-percent perspiration.”
●He then opined: “It’s a little hard to accomplish this task.”


12.Inquisitive:-Curious
If you are inquisitive that means you love to inquire.
●his poems reveal an intensely inquisitive mind.
●if someone saw a man climbing a light post they might get inquisitive.


13. Matutinal:-occurring in the morning
●He loved this matutinal habit for many years.
●He took his matutinal walk

14. Acerbic:-sour or bitter in taste
not only for edible items, it is also used for speech..You can speak acerbic to someone,,(which means speaking very harshly)
●He was known for his acerbic comments.

●While you may think your acerbic joke is funny ,others might not appreciate your humor.
